Common fault
Why is there water under my refrigerator?
Short answer
Water under a built-in comes from one of two places, and both are inexpensive repairs made expensive by waiting. Either the defrost drain has iced closed and the melt-water is overflowing inside the cabinet, or the supply line to the ice maker has split. On stone or hardwood the flooring damage overtakes the repair cost within days.
